Cristiano Ronaldo, the striker for Al Nasr, has asserted that the Saudi Pro League is superior to Major League Soccer (MLS).
Only a few days have passed since Lionel Messi, Ronaldo’s enduring nemesis, signed with Inter Miami.
Messi turned off a move to Saudi Arabia, where he would have resumed his battle with Ronaldo, and instead departed Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent this summer.
Ronaldo, however, is adamant that he made the right decision and cites the influx of athletes into the Middle East as evidence.
“The Saudi League is superior to the MLS.
Ronaldo claimed, “I paved the road to the Saudi league… and now all the players are flocking here.
