She explained on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that she has never met a woman who bears the name Christian and that makes it kind of unique.

“I have never met anybody else called Christian,” Serratos said, “but that’s kind of why I dig my name.”

And for those who felt it was necessary to tell her she has a boy’s name, Christian Wren had the best clapback. “People would often say to me, ‘Oh, well isn’t that a boy’s name?’” she said. “And I wanted to tell them constantly, ‘Well no, not if I have it.’”

Based on her experience, Wren decided to give her daughter a name that makes a statement and Wolfgang won the race. Also called Wolfie, she gave her daughter the name because it depicts strength and she wants her daughter to be strong. The name is unisex and has been used by a few people but it’s not exactly your conventional moniker for a baby girl.

Christian Wren has, however, made it known that if her daughter grows up and wants to change the name, she won’t stop her. But for now, she enjoys the confused look on people’s faces when she tells them she needs to “get back to the Wolf.”
