Unlike Bola Tinubu’s sixty days in office, maverick artist Charles Oputa, alias Charly Boy, claims that Muhammadu Buhari’s 8-year presidency “is looking better” than Bola Tinubu’s current tenure.
In response to the current administration’s recent announcement of N500 billion for palliatives, he made the statement.
President Tinubu, according to DAILY POST, said his administration would distribute N8,000 to each of 12 million disadvantaged households to lessen the impact of the Federal Government’s recent elimination of gasoline subsidies.
Charly Boy criticized the Federal Government for allocating N70 billion to National Assembly members who are under the age of 500 while giving each of the 12 million suffering people N8,000 a month.
He posed the question, “Can someone help solve dis wahala.
What sort of leadership gives the 12 million people in need only 8,000 per month while giving lawmakers who cannot reach 500 people 70 billion Naira?
“How come King Buhari’s eight years look better than Agbado’s sixty days?”
He questioned whether there was any hope left for common Nigerians.
