I deserved to be paid for being a celebrity – Speed Darlington
Controversial Darlington Okoye, better known by his stage name Speed Darlington, is a hip-hop musician from Nigeria who claims he should get compensated for “being a celebrity.”
This was said by the American rapper while taking part in the most recent edition of The Honest Bunch podcast, which actor Nedu and another co-host co-host.
According to DAILY POST, Speed Darlington was criticized lately after some fans accused him of demanding payment of N5,000 before embracing or taking selfies with them.
However, in his podcast interview, Speed Darlington emphasized that he should be compensated for more than simply “being a celebrity.”
I honestly think I should get paid for becoming a star, he declared.
Nedu assured him that he wouldn’t be a famous without the support of his followers.
Speed Darlington, though, disputed his assertions, asking, “What creates that love? Why doesn’t the crazy man get a hug?
