President Bola Tinubu should choose Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila as his Chief of Staff, according to Senate President Ahmed Lawan.
Lawan claimed that Gbajabiamila would be the greatest choice for Tinubu’s requirement for a chief of staff with expertise in the legal field.
On Thursday, he addressed reporters outside the State House.
The report that Gbajabiamila would be Tinubu’s CoS was deemed speculative by the Senate President.
“The Speaker of the House of Representatives has been rumored to be the designate Chief of Staff,” claims Lawan. You’re making a guess.
“I’m looking forward to hearing the news. I firstly pray that it materializes. The president would have made a very sensible choice if that were to occur.
“At this time, you need a chief of staff with very extensive experience in legislation and in working with the executive, which the Speaker of the House spearheaded from the House,”
