J. Cole said I am on same level as 2Pac – Burna Boy

American rapper J.Cole allegedly informed Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, nicknamed Burna Boy, during a studio session that he is on the same level as the late hip-hop great Tupac Shakur.

On the most recent episode of the Elliott Wilson-hosted Rap Radar Podcast, Burna Boy made the assertion.

I don’t really know the dynamics of how everything transpired, but anyway I wind up in the studio with J. Cole and a group of basketball players who are all quite tall, the man added. We all just talk about genuine stuff, about life in general, before [creating] any music.

“As for myself, I don’t particularly enjoy talking to folks who don’t reside with me. I don’t usually have lengthy chats like that, you know. So, I noticed that I was just drifting.

Before we begin recording, J. Cole just says, “Bro, this n*gga is Tupac. I turned to see who he was referring to and then. He is referring to me. He claims that this n*gga resembles Tupac who was reincarnated in Africa.

According to DAILY POST, J. Cole appeared on the song “Thanks” from Burna Boy’s recently released seventh studio album, “I Told Them.”
