Both of them decided to pursue music full-time after their trip to Switzerland. Later, the two met Michael Scheuchzer, three of whom moved to Oklahoma.

They officially formed the group in 1994 in Henderson Hills Baptist Church in Edmond, Oklahoma.

The group moved to Nashville in search of a record label, but they moved to Dallas to record an album. Eventually, they settled in Greenville, Texas, and began to serve at Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
