Maverick musician Charles Oputa, often known as Charly Boy, has generated controversy following a recent disclosure regarding the history of mental illness in his family.
The self-styled “Area Fada” said that his deceased father frequently told him that “Oputas are very special people.”
Although the sanity of his family “might be debatable,” according to Charly Boy, their closeness is strong.
On Tuesday, he revealed it on Twitter while posting a picture of himself and his cousin Uriel Oputa.
He wrote in the photo’s caption, “My beloved cuz,
“My dad never let me forget that the Oputas are really unique people.
