The Grammy Awards’ host organization, The Recording Academy, has announced the date for the 2019 ceremony.
The 66th Grammy Awards nominees will be announced on November 10, 2023, according to a tweet from the Academy on Thursday.
The 66th Grammy Awards would take place on February 4, 2024, it was also revealed.
From the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, the event would be broadcast on CBS.
According to DAILY POST, the Recording Academy added three new categories to the awards ceremony: Best African Music Performance, Best Pop Dance Recording, and Best Alternative Jazz Album.
Beginning with the following year’s event, nominations will be accepted for the new categories.
Afrobeats, Afropop, Amapiano, High Life, Fuji, and other genres of modern and traditional African music are all eligible for the Best African Music Performance category.
