Cristiano Rolando, a young Portuguese football star, has been reported to be a “very good friend” of Nigerian musician David Adeleke, also known as Davido.
He revealed this while a guest on the most recent edition of Anas Bukhash’s podcast ABTalks.
After Portugal was eliminated from the competition, Davido, who made history by being the first Nigerian singer to play at the FIFA World Cup final in Qatar, chastised those who had made fun of Ronaldo.
Look at [Cristiano] Ronaldo after the World Cup, he added. By the way, he’s a buddy of mine. He is a close buddy of mine.
“I remember being on the internet when he [Ronaldo] left the World Cup, and they [trolls] were abusing him so much, even after everything that he has done,” the user said.
In his popular song “Fall” from 2017, Davido pays homage to Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo only follows one other African musician on Instagram, Davido.
