Liverpool and Brighton have reached an agreement on a British-record transfer fee for Moises Caicedo.
The midfielder is scheduled to have a medical on Friday, and the transfer cost is reportedly worth £110 million.
Brighton had specified that they would accept the highest offer and had given bidders until Thursday at midnight to submit their offers.
Liverpool was engaged in negotiations with Brighton to establish all the financial terms of a deal in the event that Chelsea was unable or unable to come to an agreement.
According to reports, Chelsea was willing to pay up to £100 million, while Bayern Munich said they would spend £90 million.
Independiente del Valle sold Caicedo to Brighton for £4.5 million in 2021.
