Seun Kuti, a musician from Nigeria and the youngest son of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, the father of Afrobeat, claimed that well-known blogger Tunde Ednut wanted him to be imprisoned when he was detained by the police.
According to DAILY POST, the musician was arrested for physically assaulting a police officer, charged with assault, and held at the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, in Panti, Yaba. After being held for several days, he was eventually released.
The celebrity blogger wanted him to go to jail because he owed him money for nine posts, Seun stated during an Instagram live session on Tuesday. The blogger was actively advocating for him to be put to prison since he could not pay the money back.
“I hear everyone saying Tunde didn’t like me,” he said. Actually, Tunde is the only blogger I communicate with in Nigeria and he has my phone number. Did you know why he wants me to serve a prison sentence?because I owe money to Tunde.
He was meant to write ten posts for me beginning two years ago, but he only completed one despite being aware that my new project would shortly be released. He must perform that duty. In actuality, there are now twenty posts. He wants to treat me the same way that Sacoche treated Gaddafi as a result of those nine posts.
