@lollypeazle:

“The UK will use Emdee Tiamiyu’s film to defend its policy, not to create it. The video is always used to demonstrate how Nigerians share their beliefs.

@Chidozienwaigwe:

“Nigerian students in the UK are top achievers who have won awards, earn distinction marks, add value, and participate in developmental research. Emdee Tiamiyu depicted just the negative 1%. In our many institutions, many of us have helped to make Nigeria famous, and we shall keep doing so.

@danielregha:

“Emdee Tiamiyu is a clown with no brains. Nigerians are already stigmatized; there is a poor perception of our nation; yet, he purposefully threw Nigerians under the bus in order to get attention and leverage. A sickness is ignorance. I want karma would strike him soon.

@drpenking:

Imagine for a moment that Emdee Tiamiyu was an Imo State, Anambra, Abia, Enugu, or Ebonyi resident. By now, the Igbos would have been subjected to severe defamation in these neighborhoods. The individuals who would have been the ring leaders are on my list. Now, all of those people are quite silent.

@Ogbenidipo:

“The BBC need content from Emdee Tiamiyu to back up a specific narrative that would be’sold’ to the British people. The Home Office is familiar with everything he said. No Nigerian should be concerned about this’s impact on them. You won’t be impacted. They required this story for the British people. Period!”
