Simi, a popular stage name for Simisola Kosoko, a Nigerian musician, claims that approaching a passport office was almost impossible due to her appearance.
The mother of one described how she was first denied entry to the passport office owing to her unsuitable attire on her Instagram page on Thursday.
She claimed that she had to remove her earring and nose ring.
Simi stated, “When I got to the gate, they told me to go back because I am indecently dressed. I proceeded to the passport office to get my passport done.
“I questioned, ‘Can you see anything in my body that is indecent?’ looking at every inch of myself. He remarked, “I should go back and wear something more ‘down,'” but added that he is blind.
