2023 WWC: Super Falcons set to double bonus
If the Super Falcons advance to the Round of 16 in the current 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, the players will receive a double bonus.
For taking part in the group stage, each member of the squad has already been promised $30,000 in total.
Each player will receive an additional $60,000 if they advance to the Round of 16.
The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) will share in the substantial compensation as well.
The Super Falcons’ involvement in the competition has already brought in $1,560,000 for the football organization.
If the squad advances to the Round of 16, the sum will rise to $1,870,000.
To guarantee their position in the knockout phase, Randy Waldrum’s team needs just a point from their last group match against Republic of Ireland, who are making their international debut, on Monday.
