Raheem Sterling, a midfielder for Chelsea, claimed that his current favorite song is “Amapiano” by Nigerian musician Asake.
This was revealed by the England international in a video posted to Chelsea’s Tiktok page.
In the video, when the players were asked what music they were currently listening to as they headed to preseason practice, Sterling confessed that he had caught the “Amapiano fever.”
When asked what music he is currently listening to, Sterling said, “Amapiano [by Asake].”
Reece James, a defender, similarly disclosed that he is now listening to Rod Wave’s song “Street Runner.”
Carney Chukwuemeka, a player eligible for the Super Eagles, disclosed that his current favorite song is “Grateful” by Sinach, a Nigerian gospel singer.
