The EME boss, Banky W, and his wife, Adesuwa Etomi-Wellington, according to Canadian-Nigerian musician Nonso Amadi, persuaded his parents to let him pursue music.
On Tuesday night, he announced this via his Twitter account.
The ‘Tonight’ crooner claimed that his parents now support his decision to pursue a career, and he added that his mother is working on the Extended Play (EP) he would soon release.
The Wellingtons were thanked for their thoughtful action.
“Just want to thank @BankyW and his lovely wife @AdesuaEtomiW for coming to speak to my parents in 2018 about letting me do music,” Amadi wrote in a Facebook post.
Went a long way in winning their support, and I’m going to release an album with my mother working on it. I sincerely love you both.
