BBNaija All Stars: Nigerians fume as jury evicts Uriel
Big Brother viewers have voiced their displeasure over Uriel’s ouster from the reality program.
Uriel, a housemate on Big Brother Naija All Stars, was eliminated from the All Stars season on Sunday, according to DAILY POST.
Teddy A., Laycon, and Diane served as the eviction jury, and they unanimously decided to remove Uriel.
Seyi became the first housemate to be saved twice by the jury when the jury spared him from eviction last week.
Because Seyi had the fewest votes and had already been saved twice, Nigerians protested the choice.
Additionally, they claimed that the juries were biased because of their connection to Seyi.
Following are comments gathered by DAILY POST:
@DrOlufunmilayo. The time will come when a person who is truly popular, like Mercy or WhiteMoney, finishes in the bottom three and is subsequently disqualified by a jury that has been tainted by intoxication, even if they did not receive the fewest votes.
@AssistantEbukaa, “Isn’t it common sense not to save someone who was just saved by the jury last week?”
@TWEETORACLE, The jury this evening was biased. Seyi is of Yoruba descent, as are Teddy A and Laycon, two other members of the jury. Why? They are going to save him, of course. You cannot deny that Big Brother gave this some consideration when choosing the panel for tonight’s elimination. Contradicts common sense.
@Masco_, “Right here, in this area, is where the eviction Jury panel has an issue. Seyi finishes last for the second consecutive week but manages to avoid eviction thanks to a dependable jury. The idealization, composition, and execution of this, in my opinion, are absurd. THUMBS UP!”
@chinasa_anukam, I DETEST this jury shite. Uriel is quite active in her activities, she cooks, and her plot is developing quickly. This man spends all of his time in the house gossiping despite being in the bottom two for the past two weeks FFS.
@phillyf_, “Remove the jury, please. What the hell? It’s evident they aren’t watching this show.
@Nobsdaslushhkid, “A jury made up of biased ex-housemates is pure ass and does not represent the viewer’s choice.”
@Naijasinglegirl, “This jury situation is the worst thing to occur on #bbnaija,” someone once said. As a result of the jury’s propensity to favor persons in their social circle, prejudice has been made possible. How could those jerks choose Seyi over Uriel?
@AfroVII, “Why did they choose to save Seyi over Uriel? Shey that didn’t matter last week even though she ranked worst in the polls? Did the jury members even see the performance?
@damidawson, “BBNAIJA SHOULD REVIEW THEIR SYSTEM FOR AN EXTANT JURY. You still have time to make the changes. With Uriel’s abrupt departure—a departure unworthy of her contributions—a depressing reality emerged. The most dismal edition ever if nothing is done to improve the jury system. Oh, the irony.
