Beauty Tukura, a former Big Brother Naija Season 7 housemate, claimed that her love for Groovy was sincere despite their poisonous relationship.
She stressed that she is a realist and that she wasn’t playing games with Groovy.
This was said by the reality star on episode 8 of the ‘Level Up’ reunion show, which aired on Thursday night.
“[My relationship with Groovy] was real at the time,” she affirmed. From the beginning to the end, I was being sincere. That’s exactly what it was.
“To me, it wasn’t a game. I was only being myself. If I like you, I like you; if I don’t like you, I don’t like you. This is how I am inside and outside the House.
Groovy defended himself by claiming Beauty was the one who dumped him and body-shamed him.
When some of his housemates called him a “player” in response to the incident, he claimed he was hurt.
Let’s not forget that this is an adult [pointing at Beauty], who is capable of making judgments, Groovy remarked.
“I confessed. I actually exist. I didn’t bring any games or anything else at all. So, when the Level 2 players began yelling things like, “Grovy is trying to play,” “Grovy is this,” and “Grovy is that,” it truly wounded me. And that essentially cut me off from the group.
“This lady [pointing at Beauty] is the one who actually broke up the relationship. I was body-shamed,” he bemoaned.
