CAF confirms Enyimba for inaugural African Football League

Enyimba is one of the eight teams that will take part in the inaugural season of the African Football League (AFL), according to the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The Association of Football Leagues (AFL) is a collaboration between CAF and FIFA.

The North Region, the Central-West Region, and the South-East Region were the three African Regional Blocks from which the eight teams were chosen.

Al Ahly of Egypt, Esperance of Tunisia, and Raja Casablanca of Morocco were chosen from the North Region as the current African champions.

Enyimba and TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of the Congo are from the Central-West Region.

From the South-East Region, Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, Atlético Petróleos de Luanda of Angola, and Simba Sports Club of Tanzania are chosen.

On September 2, the competition’s draw will take conducted in Cairo, Egypt.

The contest will begin on October 20 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and last for four weeks.
