In an effort to see musician Davido, passionate fan Emmanuel Myam, alias Emmiwuks, rode his bicycle from Benue State to Lagos and has already reached his target.
Emmi Wuks arrived in Lagos on Friday, August 18, 2023, to a rousing greeting from the state’s Tiv population.
On Friday night, Olikita Ekani, a former media assistant to Samuel Ortom, the outgoing governor of Benue State, made this announcement on his Facebook page.
“Emmi Wuks, a rapidly rising celebrity, avid cyclist, and supporter of Nigerian music superstar Davido has at last arrived in Lagos,” he wrote.
“Members of Mdzough U Tiv Lagos State and Miss Kpadoo Upev, the Chubby Queen of Benue, greeted him.
“Congratulations to him and best of luck!”
According to DAILY POST, Davido had told the fan to “turn around” because he wasn’t currently in the nation. However, when the fan insisted on traveling farther, Davido asked him to provide his account number as a sign of goodwill and promised to meet him when he returned.
