Akon, a Senegalese-American artist, has chosen Davido and Burna Boy, two of the best performing musicians in Africa, as his favorite.
Akon was a guest on the Drink Champs podcast, which is co-hosted by N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN. When asked to select between Davido and Burna Boy, Akon chose Davido right away.
Akon claimed that Davido was his choice since he is a “beast.”
He asserted that the singer of “Unavailable” deserves more recognition than he currently has.
Oh, he said. I’m likely to choose Davido. Oh! David, that youngster over there is a monster. The beast, he is.
He is another person who, in my opinion, merits more roses than he has received.
