Goya Menor, a hypeman and hip-hop musician from Nigeria, has claimed that he is not receiving as many awards as he should.
The rapper said that only a select few Nigerian songs have succeeded to top international charts with their tracks, claiming that his song “Ameno Amapiano remix” did so.
In a recent interview with Lagos’ Cool FM, he made this claim.
The [“Ameno Amapiano remix”] peaked at number one on Shazam and in America, he stated. It ranked first across all platforms. I don’t even think I’m receiving credit for that, to be honest.
“You and I both know that there are fewer than 10 songs in the history of Nigerian music that have accomplished what ‘Ameno’ did.”
In the interview, Goya Menor also stated that he would adore working with Tiwa Savage.
He claimed to have already gotten in touch with her team.
