Boy Spyce, a renowned stage name of Nigerian artist Ugbekile David Osemeke, has shared the “weirdest” act he has ever done in the name of love.
He claimed that he once took out a loan solely to stop his girlfriend from going out with a different man.
This information was revealed by the Mavin signee in a recent interview with reality personality Tacha on Cool FM Nigeria.
He declared, “Borrowing money is the furthest I have ever gone for love. Though it seems quite simple, I would no longer perform this action. I won’t get if I don’t get. I’m not going to murder myself to win somebody over.
“This happened years ago. It was probably around N50,000. And it was a substantial sum of money for me at the time. My ex-girlfriend expressed the desire to go out and have a good time while eating. Why would you go out with a guy when you are with me? I thought a guy wanted to take her out. She then said that she had been wishing to visit the location. She enjoys it. I must thus go and borrow money.
