David Adeleke, nicknamed Davido, a well-known Nigerian artist, has admitted that he spent two days working on a set with Eddie Murphy but was unaware that he was the one.
Eddie Murphy played the lead role in the movie “Coming 2 America,” in which Davido appeared as a cameo.
When they were filming together at Tyler Perry’s studio, Davido claimed he didn’t recognize the seasoned actor. The Drink Champs podcast is co-hosted by N.O.R.E and DJ EFN.
You know I was in ‘Coming to America 2’, he said. I appear in the film. I play the performance role in the wedding.
“Shooting was great. At Tyler Perry’s studio, we filmed it.Do you know that I spent two days filming with Eddie Murphy without realizing he was the one. I’ll never forget that he was behind me.
“So, I was like, ‘Yo D!’ when it was my last shot.” Upon turning around, I said, “Ah, Eddie Murphy!” Yes, it was simply incredible.
