It was difficult for me at PSG – Messi opens up
Lionel Messi, a forward for Inter Miami, asserts that his transfer to Major League Soccer (MLS) is the “opposite” of his move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain.
After playing for PSG for two seasons in France, Messi joined with the MLS team.
The 36-year-old has six appearances and nine goals since his arrival.
For the first time since coming in Miami, Messi spoke to the local media and discussed his recent career.
“As I stated at the time, I didn’t want to move to Paris, I didn’t want to leave Barcelona, and it was, in a sense, from one day to the next.
Additionally, Messi remarked, “I also had to adjust to a place that was completely different from where I had been living my entire life, both in terms of the city and in a sporting sense. And, well, it was difficult, but the opposite of what is happening to me now here.”
