Burna Boy, a Grammy-winning artist from Nigeria, stated that he would find it difficult to decide between Austin Jay Jay Okocha and Kanu Nwankwo, two former Super Eagles players.
Following the game, Burna Boy, who played at the Champions League final kickoff event on Saturday night, spoke with some football greats on CBS Sports.
Thierry Henry, a former player for both Arsenal and France, challenged him to decide between Kanu and Okocha who was the superior player.
You choose Kanu or Okocha, I have a question for you. Henry enquired.
Don’t do this to me, man, Burna Boy said in response. I can’t do this, I can’t.
“This is a betrayal. That is treason. I risk being executed for it.
Burna Boy, though, eventually gave up and whispered his decision to Henry after being pressured more.
Micah Richards, a former England international, claimed to have overheard Okocha.
Henry, though, resisted revealing Burna’s choice, adding, “I will respect this one.”
Burna Boy admitted to Micah that he had no idea who he had chosen.
