David Adeleke, better known by his stage as Davido, has promised to donate $10,000 to Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, a staff member at the Eko Hotel & Suites in Lagos who found a customer’s lost $70,000.
The Afrobeat icon posted “Find her for me… ” on Sunday using his verified Twitter account. I provide $10,000.
According to DAILY POST, Ngozi Mary has received appreciation from many Nigerians on social media for returning $70,000 (more than 55 million Naira) to a hotel guest in Lagos.
In a statement earlier today, Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party LP praised Ngozi Mary for her deed and praised her for doing it in the face of the country’s suffering and the culture’s pervasive moral degeneration.
She was also suggested by Obi for a national honor.
