Mbappe or Kane: Manchester United make transfer decision

Despite the fact that both players appear to be on the market this summer, Manchester United has no plans to join the competition to recruit either Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain or Harry Kane of Tottenham.

Mbappe and Kane have drawn interest from Man United and a number of other elite European teams this summer and have been linked with moves away from their respective clubs.

The two players’ deals with PSG and Tottenham, respectively, are set to end in 2024.

Kane and Mbappe have not yet agreed to new deals with their clubs.

Tottenham and PSG would prefer to sell their attackers this summer than lose them for free the following summer.

Fabrizio Romano, a transfer specialist, claims that Man United’s hierarchy won’t go to great lengths to pursue either Mbappe or Kane.

After spending more than £100 million on Mason Mount and Andre Onana already this summer, the Red Devils have a limited amount of money available to sign a new striker.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Man United, wants his new striker to join the team as soon as possible so they can participate in preseason.

Rasmus Hojlund’s transfer to Atalanta is still the key goal for Man United.
