Milton Powell, sometimes known as Big Pokey, was a well-known American rapper.
Onstage during a Saturday night performance at a pub in Beaumont, Texas, the 45-year-old singer passed out.
The rapper, who was born in Houston, was captured on camera conversing on stage with a DJ while holding a microphone when he gasped hard, stumbled, and fell.
A message posted on the rapper’s official Instagram profile confirmed the occurrence.
“We share the news of Milton ‘Big Pokey’ Powell’s passing with great sadness.
“Big Pokey expired. His devoted followers, friends, and family all adored him. We will provide details on his memorial service and how the public can pay their respects in the following days. In this trying time, we ask that you respect his family’s privacy. The Hardest Pit in the Litter is Big Pokey, forever.
