The late Nigerian singer Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu’s widow, Farida Fasasi, also known as Sound Sultan, has posted a touching statement in honor of her husband.
According to DAILY POST, Sound Sultan lost his fight with throat cancer in the United States of America in July 2021.
Farida Fasasi posted on Instagram in honor of his second-year remembrance, saying: “Today, I chose to celebrate you and honor your legacy. I decide to have fond memories of you. Omo Iseyin, who has a deep affection for his culture. My tall, Iseyin man with black complexion
“The sweet nickname you gave me was ‘aboo. The fact that our three adorable children still remember everything about you and act as though you are still present makes us laugh.
“Your siblings have been incredibly helpful, and they make every effort to prevent us from noticing your absence from our life. They miss you every day as well.
