David Adeleke, better known as Davido, is a well-known Nigerian Afrobeat musician who recently took to the internet to thank his followers for their unwavering support and attendance at his shows.
According to DAILY POST, the musician, who is currently embroiled in a baby mother and pregnancy scandal, performed at the 2023 Afro Nation Festival’s gala finale on Friday in Portugal.
He received harsh criticism on social media after Anita Brown and Ivanna Bay, two foreign-based ladies, accused him of having an affair with them even though he was married to Chioma Rowland, his longtime partner.
Although the musician has not yet addressed the topic that is currently dominating online debates, Davido has opted to portray suspense because many of his fans were expecting him to address the charges.
On his Twitter account, the artist expressed his thanks for a successful Afro Nation concert despite the controversy.
“Thankful for the most incredible fans, thankful that you show up every time to support and watch me do what I love the most,” he wrote in a tweet. I really don’t take this for granted.
