This is true even if Declan Rice, who plays in the exact position as the Ghanaian, has just arrived.
Partey has been linked to leaving Arsenal, with Al-Ahli of the Saudi Pro League being one potential suitor.
The former Atletico Madrid player, according to Arteta, is still a crucial component of his ambitions.
Prior to Saturday’s exhibition match between Arsenal and Manchester United, Arteta spoke to the media.
“Thomas Partey is without a doubt a very significant player for us and for me. I want him to be a part of the group.
Every time I have a chat with him or speak to him, he expresses a desire to be with us. There is absolutely nothing there for me.
“I had intentions for them (Partey and Rice) to play together.
You want to strengthen the team and add additional talent, he remarked.
