David Adeleke, nicknamed Davido, a well-known artist, has told a zealous follower who rode his bicycle from Benue State to Lagos in an attempt to meet him to “turn around.”
Photos of the fan with the handle @emmiwuks were published on Twitter by @ssbbmuzi, who said the fan had been traveling from Benue by bicycle to meet Davido.
He claimed that the fan had previously traveled for eight days.
“A young man named @emmiwuks embarked on a Benue to #Lagos on a bicycle to meet #Afrobeat Superstar @davido,” the Twitter user stated. He’s now at Day 8 right now.
Davido cited the post and told the fan to turn around while stating that he was currently outside of the nation.
The singer penned, “Turn around I’m not home.”
