Actress Shaffy Bello from Nollywood has opened up about her 25-year marriage.
She claimed she left her marriage since it was a long-distance one because her ex-husband, Mr. Akinrimisi, worked there.
The actor revealed this during a conversation with well-known media figure Chude Jideonwo.
She claimed that because of the distance in their marriage, she decided to get a divorce.
He [my ex-husband] was a decent father to his children, according to the mother of two. But I reached a point where I desired more. And I was constantly going back and forth. But I eventually realized that if I wanted this really bad, I would have to make a sacrifice.
“It wasn’t a marriage sacrifice, but his presence in the United States and the distance didn’t help.”
She claimed that it was challenging for her to handle the circumstances, so she decided to get divorced.
