Why my engagement failed – Actress Moet Abebe

Laura Monyazo Abebe, alias Moet Abebe, a well-known actress and video jockey from Nigeria, confessed that her engagement attempt failed.

She claimed that if she and her ex-fiance had made things work, they may have been married by now.

She revealed this in a recent conversation with media figure Chude Jideonwo.

The TV host claimed that because of the abuse in the relationship, she ended it.

I could have been married right now, she reflected.

My engagement didn’t work out, though. Additionally, the relationship was violent. That is not what I want for myself, I realized.

“I spent around 2.5 years in a violent relationship. It wasn’t even necessary for someone to come and drag me [out of the relationship]; I just needed to sort of accept that this wasn’t possible for you to do in order to love yourself.

“The fact that you are here indicates that you are not self-centered. That’s how I ended our relationship.
