On Wednesday, Billy passed away at the age of 79.
After suffering congestive heart failure, diabetes, hearing loss, and a serious infection in his ears and skull, he had been on life support for three weeks.
On Monday, May 15, his wife Valerie revealed that she originally resisted her husband’s physicians’ request to remove Billy’s life support on Monday night.
Big-time wrestlers like Hulk Hogan, Scott Steiner, Ric Flair, and Jesse Ventura, among others, were mentored by Billy.
The WWE confirmed Billy Graham’s death in a tweet that read, “WWE is heartbroken to learn that WWE Hall of Famer ‘Superstar’ Billy Graham has died away. We offer our sympathies to Graham’s family, friends, and supporters.
