Nnamdi Kanu in severe pain, needs urgent ear surgery – Ekpa raises alarm

Nnamdi Kanu, the head of the Indigenous of Biafra, is suffering from deteriorating health, according to well-known Biafra agitator Simon Ekpa.

This was said by Ekpa on his official Twitter account on Wednesday.

Nnamdi Kanu gave him the order to let everyone know that his ear infection is getting worse, according to the lawyer and Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile, BRGIE, who is based in Finland.

He declared that Kanu’s ears required urgent surgery.

He claims that Nnamdi Kanu is dissatisfied with the Nigerian government’s continued defiance of the court’s release order.

According to Ekpa, the Nigerian judiciary is responsible for the ongoing postponements of Nnamdi Kanu’s trial.

I have been instructed by our leader MNK to inform the world of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s current condition and demands. MNK has asked me to inform Nigerians, Biafrans, and all human rights organizations that the torture-related ear condition he was suffering from has been bothering him in his left ear.

His right ear is now affected by the infection, necessitating immediate surgery. Finally, the DSS brought a doctor, who confirmed that immediate surgery is required because he was in excruciating pain and once more unable to sleep. Additionally, our boss gave me the directive to inform the world whenever his case arises, whether it does so locally or abroad.

“The world should also be aware that this is the first instance in the history of law in the world as a whole in which a superior court of record, i.e. The Court of Appeal, which is second to the highest court of the land, will issue a ruling and discharge a party, and the same Court of Appeal will then, through another Panel, ask the authorities of Government not to obey the ruling,”

Recall that the Nigerian government re-arrested Kanu in 2019. The government of President Muhammadu Buhari refuses to release him on bail in spite of multiple court judgments.
