Pop icon, Madonna hospitalized for serious bacterial infection
Pop icon Madonna was admitted to the hospital on Saturday and needed to spend time in the intensive care unit (ICU) due to a “serious” infection.
Last Saturday, there were rumors that Madonna had contracted a dangerous bacterial infection.
The 64-year-old “Like a Virgin” singer has also postponed her Celebration World Tour, which will be rescheduled, according to Guy Oseary, her manager.
Due to a knee issue, Madonna previously had to postpone a few of her concerts on her most recent tour in 2019. Also finished early was the tour.
Oseary added that despite the fact that Madonna is still receiving medical attention, her health is getting better.
“On Saturday, June 24, Madonna became quite ill with a bacterial infection, necessitating a few days in the intensive care unit.
Although her health is getting better, she is still receiving medical attention. The predicted outcome is a full recovery, Oseary posted on Instagram on Wednesday.
