The first acting talent search program in Nigeria, SCREEN PERFECT, has been announced as launching on the inexpensive pay-TV platform StarTimes. The purpose of the program is to find, develop, and market the upcoming Nollywood stars.
SCREEN PERFECT is a program that puts budding actors to the test in a variety of on-camera acting tasks. The participants will contend for monetary awards totaling over ten million naira, a deal with a prestigious film production company, and parts in five StarTimes original movies.
Anyone who is at least 18 years old is eligible to audition for SCREEN PERFECT. Have you got what it takes to become a famous actor? Present your skills to win 10 million Naira. Registration is quick and cost-free.
1. Download the StarTimes ON app for interested candidates, then select Screen Perfect registration. On July 30, registration will end.
2. You can also make a one-minute video explaining why you should be the next Nollywood star. Post it to social media and include the Instagram handles for StarTimes and Indomie Instant Noodles (@startimesng and @indomie_nigeria). Registration lasts till July 31.
3. Physical auditions take place in Lagos on July 21 and 22, in Abuja on July 21, and in Port Harcourt on July 22.
The engine of SCREEN PERFECT is Indomie Instant Noodles. The program will air on the StarTimes-ON app and ST Nollywood Plus channel.
