Wizkid made young artistes believe they can make it – Joeboy
According to Grammy Award winner Wizkid, teenage musicians in Nigeria, like Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, better known as Joeboy, began to believe they might become famous at an early age.
He said this on the most recent audiovisual podcast episode of Body & Soul.
Before Wizkid, it was challenging for young artists to blow early, according to the “Baby” crooner.
After initially meeting Wizkid, Joeboy claimed he knew he would become famous.
He stated, “One thing I truly admire about Wizkid is that he instilled in new artists the notion that they can pop [achieve smash status] at an early age. If there was a pop musician before Wiz, he or she was undoubtedly much older. However, young individuals began to emerge after Wiz.
