Zamfara: Gov Lawal visits victims of bandits attack
On Monday, Dauda Lawal, the governor of Zamfara State, strongly denounced the banditry attack on Bungudu Local Government Area citizens.

According to a statement by the Governor’s spokesperson, Sulaiman Bala Idris, the governor traveled to Bungudu to express his sympathies to the local government and Emirate.
In order to reassure them of his administration’s dedication and willingness to eradicate the bandit threat, he continued, Governor Lawal paid a visit to the Emir’s Palace.
According to the statement, Governor Dauda Lawal visited His Highness Alhaji Hassan Attahiru, OFR, the Emir of Bungudu at his palace to express his condolences to the whole local government and the Emirate over the heinous bandit attack.
He told the audience at the Palace that banditry would soon be a thing of the past throughout the entire State.
“He asked the populace to continue their prayers in support of the government’s efforts to combat insecurity, stressing that security is everyone’s business and calls for the greatest level of cooperation.
He expressed sympathy to the deceased person’s family and prayed for the release of the kidnapped individuals.
Alhaji Hassan Attahiru, the Emir of Bungudu, thanked the Governor for his condolences.
